Hi! I tutor AP World History with a big focus on writing: DBQs, LEQs, and how to turn documents into an argument. I studied history and still geek out over the Mongol Empire and early trade routes. If you’re stuck on time periods or rubric wording, we’ll practise with real prompts, tighten your thesis, and build a repeatable essay outline you can use on test day. We can also do a quick content sweep before exams, using timelines and a couple of “must-know” case studies per unit.

AP World can feel like a million names and dates, so I teach it like a set of stories with patterns. We’ll map continuities, compare empires, and make quick “why it matters” notes for each unit. I did my undergrad in international relations and love Units 6–8 (industrialisation, imperialism, global conflict). Expect lots of practice MCQs and short, targeted homework. I’m also happy to help you pick a few go-to examples (Song China, Ottoman, Meiji Japan, etc.) that you can reuse across prompts.
